Were There Product Changes 2010 vs 2009 RL?

Question #1:
I may be in the market for another RL to replace my 2006 RL. Is the 2010 RL the same as the 2009 RL or are there differences?

Question #2:
What color do you feel looks best on the 2009/2010 RL? I am currently driving a dark gray RL (Carbon Gray?) and it looks good in the darker color.

Thanks for your comments.

They're pretty much exacty the same.

I'm not really a fan of dark gray colors, so Platinum Frost Metallic would be a nice choice. Can't go wrong with AWP or CBP though.

Check out the Wikipedia article on the Acura RL. You can see the color and interior changes. Not much else. You can research actual changes on acuranews.com, brochures from the dealers if you have them, as was done for most of the 2G section of the Wiki article.

The differences a 2009 and 2010 has been discussed before. There were no changes in 2010.

During the previous discussion there was a thought that the radio was upgraded in 2010 so that it displayed the song being sung on some stations. However, my 2009 also has this feature.

so do the 2009 AND the 2010 have the larger 3.7L engine...

I also have read a review by another AZ member who upgraded from an 05-08 model to a newer RL that the newer car was not only more pwoerful, but that the transmission shiftedmore aggressively... less lag/ more responsive... that would be nice!

Yes...and consistent with the RL being a technology testbed, they introduced the first ever implementation of VTEC on the exhaust side of a J Series engine, to allegedly fatten the torque curve (now also used on the TL SH-AWD and ZDX). They would have also introduced the 6 speed auto in the 2009 MMC, but alleged reliability issues delayed release until the ZDX.
