Water in Headlight Assembly

My passenger headlight assembly must have a small crack in it, because after driving in the rain there is some water in it. I thought it would dry out after several days but its still wet in there. Is there any way to dry it out?

Thanks.

Larry

Option 1. Bake it, take it apart, fix the crack, clean it, reseal it.

Option 2. Take it out and try to clean it through the bulb hole, it will just fill back up again if its cracked or has a broken seal

Option 3. Buy a new one.

If you're opening it, go with clear corners! At least you're killing 2 birds with 1 stone! hahah

Don't let that water sit in there for too long. It will short out your ballast and then you'll need to buy a new one. They arent cheap

I removed one of the headlight bulbs, and then aimed a small room heater at the lens and its doing a great of removing the condensation. I'll try to seal the small crack and see if that keeps out the water.

Water in the headlight really sucks. It drove me nuts when both the headlights on my s2000 had condensation in them. I had to cook them both and reseal them. One actually rusted my ballast pretty bad so it's best to fix it immediately before it gets worst. It can also burn out your HID bulbs which cost a good fortune.
