My 2006RL came with the optional front, rear and side underbody kits because the original customer cancelled the order. Considering my purchase price, I got the kit for practically nothing .

In building a 2009 RL on the Acura website, the kits are no longer offered as options. Anyone know if there's an aftermarket seller offering the kits. They really do enhance the RLs lines.

2009 RL is an MMC, they never had any kits for it.

MMC = Mid Model Change

Normally happens before the next generation models are rolled out (i.e. 3gen RL 2011-2012?)

Anything will fit with the correct amount of duct tape.

lol.... duct tape.... i was thinking more along the line of bondo, silicon, and heat gun with painted clear coat finish..... than that RL will really be 'unique'.... let's call it TRL type S.....

Don't knock duct tape,,,,there are designer options:

And it could make the front end passenger impact compliant, sans the power phlegm schnoz...

In fact, BMW is trying to copy Acura's current design trend with the raised hoodline, gaping grille opening and a few extra character lines...
