I had my passenger door handle replaced this past week and ever since then the tilt mirror on the passenger side will not return to the normal position when you shift out of reverse. Is there a reset for this I can do myself? Interestingly it works sometimes but not first thing in the morning. Sleepy car I guess. But it is also a bit dangerous if you don't realize it right awy.

 

What if you try putting the mirror in the correct position and then hitting the 1 or 2 on the door to have it 'remember" it. Maybe that will re-set it? Also, what if you move the mirror selector to the middle (instead of left or right)? This turns-off the auto down when in reverse.
