Yep. Supposed to be about 65 here today, I think.
But we've had 2 solid weeks of crappy, snowy, icy weather, and we're due to warm up. (Okay, okay it got down to only about 22 at the lowest point.)
BTW, I'll bet you Mid-westerners are wishing for a little of that "global warming" right now, huh?

You're complaining about 0F?
HAH! Try -16F this morning here in Madison WI with a high of lofty -1F.
It is supposed to get to 8 tomorrow, I'm getting my swimming trunks out!

Now THAT is cold. It got to 5 F yesterday here. Today, not much better. It's supposed to be in the 20's tomorrow, I'll make sure to put on MY Speedo.
An RL-related question: Do you guys turn off the auto-light function when it gets this cold? While I usually use the function, I'm afraid that I won't get enough "cold cranking amps"
to start the car if I don't turn auto-lights off. Or does it matter in a relatively new car with a presumably fresh battery?

Mine stays on. I thought I read somewhere that the accessories on most cars are designed to "defer" power to the starter when starting (not sure I used the right term).
IOW even if you left your radio, wipers, etc., the drain to the starter supercedes the other accessories in the car.
