Hey my fellow RL enthusiast,

I'm thinking about putting a black glossy wrap on the roof my 05 RL Lakeshore Silver Metallic to give the vehicle a panoramic roof appearance. What do you think it would be 5ft by 4ft to fit the RL roof with is $79.80 with a 10% discount. Pretty cheap accessory, but I think it would give the RL some cool points. They also have ton of different colors and finishes on Sticker city website. What do you guys think? I've also watched the videos on the site and it looks pretty easy DIY job if you got two people with good hands.

Panoramic roof appearance... What exactly does that mean?

^the 3G TL Guys have been doing this for a while.
it only looks good on light colored cars, for example: white.

I'm also concerned about antenna opening on the RL roof and that being a different color and I'm worried about the opening.

^some have done it on Silver.....but it doesnt have the same effect as white..or thats my opinion.

is the antenna the same as the 3G TL or similar?
because if so, it can be taken off and vinyled as well.

I guess it depends on what your definition of "cool points" are, but I think we can all agree that the RL is supposed to be a classy car, not a race car. ^^^That looks like someone is going for a race/sports car look.

007spy, The RL will still be "classy". Does a panaromic roof make a E-Class look to sporty? Good job on the photoshop. Can you do it on your car. We have the same color :-)

Justnspace the antenna a little bigger. The excess should enough to cover.

I didn't do it. The link is below the pic. Your opinion on classy. It's a subjective term that means different things to different people. I'll give mine a shot though. Just for you! :wink:

I was going to ask for a pic of said E-class, but coincidently, I saw one on the way home. I don't think it looked sporty; it looked like it didn't fit the car right. With a drop, some black rims, and an aggresive kit, I could see it fitting better, but I wouldn't do that to MY car. That's just my opinion though, and honestly, I can think of worse mods. Let us know what you do.
