RL HID bulb replacment decision!?!?!?

Alright fellow members, I need some help/comments on HID bulb replacement for my RL.

I spoke with my service technician last night and they are offering to replace the Inverters/ballast under CPO warranty due to flickering/intermittent *driver side* shutoff, however they will NOT replace the HID bulbs as they state it is normal wear & tear (like all other bulbs on the RL as they explain).

So now I have a couple options before Wed.

A. Have dealership replace inverters/ballast and use the same HID bulbs (show no discolor) and take the chance of paying labor cost later if the bulbs are cause?

B. Replace only (1) OEM bulbs from Acura for $197 **4300k output**

C. Go aftermarket and get a pair of HID bulbs with 5000k or 6000k output (Since the dealership is replacing the parts, they will not charge labor to install the new bulbs too)

If C - Should I go 5000k or 6000k??

Thank for any/all input guys!

ebay here too

Just go 5000k. Same look as the higher rated bulbs but more light output. We got 6500k on my wifes accord which gives less light output n color wise its almost the same.
