Ran out of gas today
In my 2005 Acura RL, the fuel gauge misinformed me about the fuel level resulting in totally without gas. During that state of no gas, whenever I tried to crank the engine unsuccessfully it will flash “Check emission system” and “check power steering system”. The emission error code is P2195. Also, the AWD error code was 77.
So got the car towed to my home since I had no idea what happened. Fuel level never came to my head because the gauge still showed not totally empty. As a shot in the dark, brought some premium gas from the nearby Shell gas station and filled the RL with almost 4 gallon of gas. Car started within 3 seconds with the “Check emission system” staying in the display that disappeared after ten minutes. Now the RL running beautifully as before with nothing in the error display.
Should I worry about anything? Learned my lesson of running on empty due to faulty gauge.

Sounds like you got lucky. Or, maybe didn’t get unlucky. There are apparently many problems that can happen when running the tank dry according to YouTube car gurus like, Scotty. I believe most of the problems involve misfire damage and error codes. Sounds like all is well.
