Radiator fan squeal??

I notice that once in while when I run my ac there is a squeal or squeak when the fan kicks on. Any ideas on how to lube or fix this??

Well, a squeal is usually associated with a belt. The radiator fans are driven by electric motors, so it is unlikely to be your fans. The A/C compressor is driven by a belt. It is located on the passenger side about 2/3 of the way down into the engine bay. The belt is on the outside and runs parallel to the passenger wheel. If you go into the service manual (in the garage or in Carbon Legends single download thread), the HVAC.pdf shows a good diagram on page 2.

I would start there. What year are we talking about? The '05 A/C compressors are known to be weak.

The noise is def. coming from the driver side fan. no noise coming from the belts. Sounds like a chipmunk chirp.

The diagram shows the motor on the driver's side fan. Maybe your motor is going. Or maybe you could take it out and lube it up.

is there suppose to be a fuse inside the red box where it connects to the battery? I noticed that the box said a 50a Rad fuse but I have No fuse in the slot.

Yes. I don't remember if it is a conventional looking fuse or not, but there should be one there. I'm not sure how it could get power without one.

I noticed some squeaking tonight when the fan was on, didnt matter if the air was hot or cold and only noticed it sitting still, nothing else on while idling. How would i lube this? Fairly certain its inside the cabin and not a belt in the engine bay.

No worries. It's all good. Just clarifying so hopefully someone can help out. I don't have your answer.
