Do I remember correctly that at some point there was a "gap" in the model years available for the RL - like no such thing as a 2010 or 2011 model or something?

I thought of this when I was surprised to see the local dealer promoting 2012 RL's in their year end "clearance sale" as I thought the car was "done" and out of the lineup at some point until the RLX release.

 

I think there is no 2013 RL and will be a 2013 or 2014 RLX or something. The RL has run from 05-12 though

 

 

No 2013 RL. The RLX will be 2014. The current Acura site only has TL, TSX, & ILX as sedan options.

 

OK, for some reason I thought there was a gap somewhere after the 2009 or 2010 model year, at least here in Canada.

Canada, eh? Seems unlikely to be different.

I thought nothing made sense up there.

 

I would bet there is a whole model year still stuck at customs.

 

Or the engines froze up...
