Pass Thru Panel
Pass Thru Panel
One of the Audi features that I liked was the rear seats folded down allowing me to carry some large items that wouldn't fit otherwise.
Today I had to pick up some 8' lengths of molding and was laboring over how to transport them in the RL. I completely forgot about the access door to the trunk. I put a blanket over the rear seat armrest and guided the pieces through.
After loading, the ends of the molding were even with the front edge of the arm rest in the front seat. Almost like they planned it that way. Also, the size of the pass thru was just right to keep the product contained. In the Audi, they would have slid all over the place. Thumbs up to the RL's utilily!

Fold down rear seats can be helpful at times. I guess Honda opted not to have them in favor of the rigidity support the fixed seat offers.
The pass through is the right size for the long slim items and yet small enough to keep the kids escaping from the trunk.
