New battery, broken fans
I bought a new battery from car quest about 4 months ago and my car had been working properly. Then after a while I noticed the same issues I was having before have returned(mirror not returning back properly from reverse down, door unlocking when it shouldn't be when parked). I also noticed i havent remembered hearing my fans work for a while but didn't really pay any attention to it. Now I have been getting a check radiator on my MID. So I have been putting it off to go too the dealer. Finally my car started over heating 1 day(I know this is what I get). I checked the radiator and there was no coolant in there as well as none in the plastic bottle to the left. So I filled both up and the car started acting right again. After about a month I realized the car started over heating again. So I checked and there was no coolant in the radiator but the plastic bottle was still full. So i filled the radiator and all was well. Now 3 weeks later(today) car starts over heating again and same thing has happened but this time after filling the radiator the car still kept over heating. I opened my battery cover and when I pressed down on the positive terminal the fans started working like normal and the car started to cool itself down. I haven't driven it yet but so far the car seems to be normal. Is there a connection between the battery and the fans?

Yes, when your mid says check radiator, it means exactly that. The sad thing is this car is sometimes just overly engineered..There is an inline fuse right there on your battery positive connector pack...fuse 34 50 amp underneath that red plastic cover that powers your radiator fan control relay. It is more than likely just loose, causing your failure of the radiator fans. Going to the dealer is like going to the doctor, most people are just scared of what they're gonna find out but a lot of the time the money spent is well worth it

Is there one relay for both fans or separate relays?
Reason I'm asking:

Page 16 of the wiring diagram has one relay going to one radiator fan motor. There is another motor for the A/C condenser fan that is controlled by a PCM through the radiator fan control unit. The radiator fan relay pulls power directly from the 50A fuse on the battery terminal.
