Angry Just venting

I finally bought my carbon grey pearl/ebony RL last night and today at lunch I was hit-and-run rear-ended by a guy in a corvette! I HATE PEOPLE! He didn't have a front plate so I couldn't even get that before he sped away and he was going so fast when he went around me and ran the red light that I couldn't see the rear plate either. I called the police and they came out and took a statement from me and my passenger and told me that they would try to search the video footage from the intersection and see if they could see it but who knows if anything will happen. No real damage just some scratches and one spot where the paint was scraped back but still. I am soo p!#$ed off right now. Sorry but I just needed to vent a little.

I'm going to wait until this weekend when I get a chance to strip/clay/zaino the car before taking any pics. Besides, I've just been having too much fun driving around to stop and take pictures

So would I but the thing is after he hit me he pointed to pull over so we both got in the left turning lane (which was the closest) and when the light turned I turned and he ripped around me and ran the red light. I didn't have room to u-turn and when I did get turned around the light was red on my side and I had to wait again. I did drive back where he went for a bit looking around but didn't find the idiot.

Sorry to hear about that. That is a bad day but at least you are ok. In the city I would never attempt to chase someone down in a car because I always think of them hitting someone else on foot or a child. Its just not worth it. They will get whats coming to them. There was a speacial on tv the other night about the problems and fatalitys that have been occuring because of dumb rookie cops chassing people down. Its useually some poor family in a minivan wrong place at the wrong time who gets tboned and pays the price. And 90% of the time the person who the police were chasing had dead tags, inspection or a suspended license. Just glad to hear you are ok. We can always fix our cars but we cannot replace our lives and family.

stingerbtry , I am truly sorry about what happened to you and your passenger. Fortunately, neither of you were seriously injured.

Vermin such as the Corvette driver have earned a place in hell. May he be found, convicted and sent to a prison where he may find a just reward for his actions.

I felt terrible about a small windshield nick I received. MY anger is nothing compared to what you must feel.

Good luck in the future with your RL.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune-the Vette driver will almost certainly suffer a similar or worse fate with all the bad karma he is driving around with. Not to make light of your situation, but the fact that you can Zaino and clay your problem away is a very good thing! Look at it as an opportunity to get to know your RL a bit more up close and personal.

I talked to my salesman and told him about what happened and he told me he would get me a great price on the a-spec body parts if I wanted to which would actually completely cover where the scratches etc are. Something for me to think about now...

I am sorry to hear about your misfortune. I am sure the fiberglass Vette took some well deserved serious damage.

Maybe with the A-spec parts, this can turn out in your favor
