I have been looking around online and cant seem to find many options for an intake system for my RL. I have found one on craigslist that someone had on there 07 would that be compatable with my 08. Also I am looking more for sound rather than speed since I dont drive that hard so should i go with a cold air or a RAI. And what would be the best brand with the most sound?

Takeda intake systems are sold through Excelerate (an Azine vendor). If you just want sound go for SRI.

AEM doesn't but if you had even read a few threads down the page you could have answered your own question.

AEM makes one for the 3.5liter motor in the Gen 2 cars, and Takeda makes one for the 3.7 liter motor in the Gen 2.5. Both are technically listed for the TL.

 

Do you think the Takeda intake works on a 3.5 liter motor?

 

it works on a 3.5 TL, I see no reason, apart from different spacing in 2G RL, that it wouldn't work.

all you need is same diameter piping and I think it's the same.
