indentation in leather
indentation in leather
I had to transport my old wheels and tires to get my winter tires installed. well tirerack was booked so i had to do it saturday morning. so the tires were in the car for about 20 hours in the backseat. in bags. but now there are some indentations still 2 days later.
is there a way to restore the backseat to perfection the way it was before? do i need to hit it with some steam or any other type of treatment?

You can do what db suggested and find two larger people 280lbs is overkill but will do the job or you can just wait it out. Its happened to me often as I'm always transporting something in the backseat. It will come out eventually on its own. Warmth also helps the leather reconfigure itself. The cold keeps the identations

Turn to MAX heat with the air coming out of the vents on the center console. Close off the front vents to try to force more air to the back. After about 20 minutes rub around the area.
