putting the aspec suspen on my 2005 rl. my dealer gave me a free loaner of 2010 TL awd. i like the Xm weather / and it has power punch. but thats where it ends. I love my RL would not trade it for this Tl. Hope acura keep making RLs must fix the face though!
How much did you get your Aspec suspension for? I think the cheapest one I've seen are $600 w/o shipping. How much is the dealer charging you for installation? I'm considering getting one in a month or so.

Wow, prices sure haven't changed for the A-Spec since I bought the suspension 3 1/2 years ago.

BUT if you have it instalelled BY Acura you get it coverd under your warranty.
I bought the OEM spoiler, and let Acura put it in. they charged me a very fair price..and a month later the tape failed and it was lifting off. Acura bought me a new spoiler, reinstalled it - all under warranty.
some ricer shop may be able to do the suspension, but if they screw it up - Acura won't back it. I'd pay the extra couple hundred to get it done by the dealer and covered for the rest of my warranty....
just my thoughts...
$1000 sounds like a pretty good deal given that it includes labor at the dealer!
so do you think the car rides too rough at all or is it still plenty smooth?
are you runnign stock 17" wheels or 18s?

it is not the stiffness of the suspension that is an issue. it is not as stiff as the new body tl's. i would say about the same as older tl. but the bumpiness is the issue with this suspension, it does not do well on imperfect roads. the bumps or bobbing improved with my new 18 aspec wheels n tires though.

I so need to open a shop. OMG...$420 in labor. This IS just for the suspension install, right?
For a grand I'd go with an aftermarket adjustable one so you can set it the way you want. I have Tein SS on my 3G TL and I swear, even with the tire sitting at the fender line, it's not any more harsh than when it was on Aspec.
Just my opinion...
Either way, great car, the RL...I wish I had SHawd.
