3 interior problem on the car

so the

1. cigarette lighter will not close
2. the tray under the CD player will not close.
3. the passenger side heater control, the up and down cold and warm and the right side seat heater, they work but they do not illuminate at night.

any ideas guys, I will look at the fuses when I have time..

sorry what I meant to say was that number three, it might be the fuse that is not making the light come on on the two interior parts.

1&2 just wanted to know if others ran into this problem

1. Fix the latch, there are threads on how to do it
2. same as 1.
3. If the heater works then the bulb is burnt out, there will be more to follow.

Bulbs are changeable, but the labor is exorbitant, kind of the $100 light bulb syndrome...

I would be interested to see if there are LED replacements of the same brightness for the incandescents, mostly for the long life of LEDs. I do not know if any of these bulbs are on the interior dimmer and what effect LEDs might have.

i had a bulb go out in an old car and I managed to fix it myself... but it was a major PITA...

you might even have to buy an entire new swtich assembly? i'm sure this crap is also NOT covered even under extended warranties as they will deem it a wear / tear type item...

let us know if yo ufix that bulb - and how hard it was.

Didnt someone around here change out the Cent Cons bulbs with aftermarket? Been a while now. Wonder how they are holding up. It'd be nice if they had a better life, because they were cheap.
