How does the original Acura battery look?

I have a 2006 RL that i purchased used with 35k miles on it 2 years ago.
The battery seems to work fine but i am trying to figure out if the first owner replaced it or i still have the original.

Does the Acura original battery have the Acura/Honda logo on it? Or is a generic brand name battery?

I think that my current battery has something along these lines written on it: "100 Month Limited warranty; 550 CCA, Group size 24", etc but i cannot see a brand/logo, etc. Is this how the original Acura battery looks?

Thanks!

That sounds like a replacement Acura battery, meaning it is not the one that came off the assembly line with the car, but instead it is one that has been replaced by a genuine Acura battery bought at a dealer.

The original battery off the assembly line won't have the 100 Month warranty on it and it usually has an electrolyte sight glass (i.e. the green indicator shows when the battery is charged and good). None of the replacement batteries from Acura or Honda has the sight glass.

the replacement battery is probably made in MEXICO. Mine was lasted 2 years. Took it to Interstate and was told batteries made in MEXICO have mexico water in them and will not last. If replacing don't by made in MEXICO battery, unless you want issues of dead cell

Is there a date on the battery? If its an 06 the battery probably has an early 06 or late 05 date. If its a 2007 or 8 then you know he replaced it prior to you purchasing

Have you said that here before? I feel like I have heard that, and it is still just as funny now as it was then.

imo, forego all battery issues once and for all and get an optima red-top:

I inspected the 100-mo Acura battery in my car today (2006)...and the bad news is that whoever installed the battery did not mark the month/year on the little label where the date marking are printed. I have no idea when this battery was installed.

All i know is that it is branded as "Acura" and has some sort of 100-mo warranty. I can only hope that it was replaced recently and the OEM battery lasted 2 or 3 years.
