Help Running Wires.

I need to run wires from inside the car (dash) through to the engine area. Has anyone done this before? I am trying to figure out the best way to make this happen but the answer isn't obvious. Anyone have any thoughts and or ideas?

Take off the dead pedal. There is supposedly a hole large enough for an amp wire there.

I tried feeling behind the dead pedal and taking off the wheel and examining under the hood to see if I could find a place optimal to get the wire through but I found nothing.

Do you remember reading about the dead pedal in a thread or know anyone I may be able to ask? I'm going to look at running it from the glove thorugh the side and under the pillar which would bring it right through the corner underneath the windshield on the passenger side.

Any thoughts?

Is that your setup? Where on the other side does it run to and did you make that hole or is it there? I'll need to look again.

I took the wheel off to have more room to look to see where the wire would end up if I ran behind the dead pedal. i cant see where I might have to look for it.

Here is how I ran mine. I chose to drill Ito the firewall, and my hole came out just below the brake booster. This may give you some perspective about where to expect the wire.

I would expect that if you are under the dead pedal, which is in the cabin and behind the door then the wire would pop out in the engine bay INSIDE the fender well.

This is what I was figuring. Wish I could avoid but oh well, I will have at it if it warms up one day.

I think it's drilled thru. I had my headlight retrofitted and that's how he wired it. It's too cold to take anything off but I'll take a look if it warms up lol

I am going to investigate to see what is directly behind the front dash after I take the radio out again. I'm going to clean up some wires back there.

Are you running wire for amp battery? I ran a 4 gauge wire from the battery inside the fender and through the wall (through the rubber wire thingy for the door wires). If you have a look at the link below, you'll know what I mean..lol. It is the picture that shows about 3" of blue wire when you open the door. If it was a black wire, you probably would never notice it.

This is something that I'm looking at doing the thing is I don't want to run it to the trunk. I am running it to behind the radio area.
