Fog light pattern

Has anyone else noticed that the light pattern from the fog lights doesn't match on the floor? My driver and passenger side aren't symmetrical. Driver side light output on the floor is closer while the passenger side light output on the floor is further out. Idk why its not shining the same distance on the floor. Any ideas? Thanks

You can adjust the level of the fog lights. If you look directly underneath the fog light, inside the opening of the bumper (the air vent slots) there is a small slot where you can put a phillips screwdriver in to adjust the level.

Are your bulbs seated correctly? Are your heat shields identical in shape and position?

I tried adjusting it but the screw on the passenger side just keeps turning after awhile with no leveling. The only difference is the driver side assembly was replaced new and passenger side has never been replaced...driver side's pattern looks normal and the passenger side looks off. The bulbs I put in locked in for sure. However, when looking in from the lens, the driver side's led bulb and passengers bulb aren't in the same. Driver side is mounted visually vertically while the passenger side is horizontally...even tho I tried to install it matching if it makes sense. The passenger only installed one way so idk why they locked in a bit different. Trying to avoid a new fog light assembly cause that's the only thing I can think of....lol

That is your problem is the bulb position. bulbs are suppose to go in vertically up and down to direct light out. when bulb is mounted horizontally it creates dead spots in light.

Also what kind of bulbs are they? good quality or some ebay LED bulbs? i would go back to standard halogen bulbs if you are concerned about output.

Same concept if the low beams weren't matching...one way too high and the other normal.

Thanks, thats what I thought but I can't seem to get it installed vertically. Its a legit kit. The led is built with excellent quality and produces 1800 lumens. It should only go in one way so if its installed horizontally, I don't think getting it in vertically possible...wish I knew why lol

I took them out because its not white. More like a 4300K even tho its rated 5K. However, the light output was pretty impressive for a led.

i would inspect both of them and make sure your bulb base and LED's are in line if not call VLed and let them know what is up. they have good customer support and would replace it no problem

Its not the bulbs because this happened to a set of 3K Morimoto HID bulbs before...same issue. I'll check one last time when my 6K HID comes in. Thanks!

The driver side was replaced oem and the passenger side was original. I highly doubt you can install upside down or any other ways since there's a bracket to mount it to the bumper..do you happen to have a passenger side laying around?
