Just got my RL
Just got my RL
I live in the Denver(Colorado) area and recently purchased a used 06 Acura RL with close to about 130k miles on it.
I wasn't aware that the RL has such a fan-following until after I purchased the car from the dealership and got home. I am glad I did, although it pinched me a bit buying a car with 130k miles on it. However, the carfax showed that the vehicle has been regularly serviced at Acura dealerships exactly every 10k miles.
I'll post some pics soon after I have it detailed, before which I need to fix some hopefully "minor" issues. Well, the car is an 06 and will need some restoration and I'm not really sure where to start since this is my first USED car. (Been a VW owner for about 5 years). The Acura is a welcome change for me after the awfully high repair costs on VW.
Some of the issues are:
1. A vibration while going past 60mph. This better be a wheel balancing issue since the last service on the vehicle was done exactly 10k miles before, and had the timing belt all replaced from the Acura dealership.
2. A delay while engaging transmission from N to D. Sometimes causing a jump at those signal lights.
3. The body of the car, especially the exhaust tip, reveals that the car has never gone in for a detailing job ever except the routine car wash. So, that's going to need some work!!!
And oh, the colour is NightHawk Black Pearl!!!
