Finding used Acura RL Parts

Where are you guys getting used parts? I want to replace a few things in the interior from regular wear and tear. I also have right taillight that also needs to be replaced from a crack I noticed a few weeks ago.

It seems to me like replacing interior "worn-and-torn" parts with other used parts might be somewhat self-defeating, unless you find someone parting out a totaled low-mile RL with not much wear and tear. There weren't ever that many RLs sold to begin with, so salvage cars seem fairly few and far between. Have you looked at prices at some of the OEM outfits like oemacuraparts.com?

Yes.... Depends on the grade of the part. If used/local/etc... might be worth checking out in person.

I see that you're in Chicago. Here's one on craigslist I found.

Agreed. OP, if you're talking about the center console and/or armrests a lot of guys on here have had them recovered with real leather by local upholstery shops with great success. It would probably cost the same or less than finding used pieces and will give you a much higher quality and longer lasting product than the OE pleather pieces.
