Chirping sound:-( HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

I started my car this morning and notice that every time I drive over a bump in the road or anything uneven a chirping sound emits from the ceiling voice command mics. Has anyone rxperience this problem? Can it be a bad mic and if it is what could course it to start acting up????

not even sure where to start... is the chirping a sound you have heard before and its repeating itself?

I assume its coming from the speakers... does it do it if you are on a call or using the voice commands?

I do have an Audi wire as u described plugged in to the car with nothing on the other end. This may be my problem as I now realize the noise started the morning after I had the phone plugged to the car. I'll update in the morning on my resolve.

Ok I removed the aux cable and the chirping is still there. Any ideas are welcomed.

I feel foolish posting this but the thread must be closed. So after poking around the speakers for another thirty minutes, I realized it was not the speakea making the chirping noise. It was the clip from the sun visor rubbing agains the roof clip. I Gues after using the sun visor I did not clip it into the holder completely and every time the vehicle drove over a rough surface it would rub and make the chirping sound. Thanks for all those that attempted to solve this non issue with me.

Could be worse. You could post a thread about how to remove a wheel for a tire change like I did.

At least the "problem" is solved.
