I'm also interested in this.

I was reading over in the 3G TL forums and noticed that some substantial gains were obtained from the "pre-cat" deletes. According to another poster, those pre-cat deletes fit all the other "J" series engines - any reason why they may not fit/work on the RL's?

If the numbers are to be believed (like this one https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-112/what-b-u-tiful-day-dyno-690686/ ), adding the CAI/spacer/pre-cat deletes and a decent cat-back should really give some gains to the RL.

Don't know if this has been discussed before, so forgive me if I'm duplicating things. If it hasn't, I'd be willing to be a guinea pig car. Worst case scenario, I have to swap everything back to stock...

I actually plan on adding the entire gambit of mods to my RL and will be setting up my first baseline dyno next week in So Cal so we shall see what it all adds up to. Also, I plan on adding the Jet computer which will be programmed for my setup. Keep the fingers crossed.

sorry for the short post. stupid iphone.

Anyway, does this mean that the pre-cat deletes are confirmed to fit the RL and the j-pipe is ready for sale? If that's the case I'll buy a set tomorrow.

Is your car stock now? What are the parts you're going to add.

I believe he's adding the CAI, underdrive pulley, and is considering exhaust if I read his posts correctly.

It'll be nice to see another baseline dyno pull on an RL. He'll be the third to do it.

I did PM the guys who did the pre-cat deletes for the TL (think it's the same guy doing this J-pipe). Hopefully I can get a resposne from him and test out the pre-cat deletes on the RL.

Any ETA on the J-pipes? (btw feel free to add my name to the list, please)
