Did your dad buy the RL? If yes, what was the price?

Thanks!

Those who got their 07 RL with Tech Package for around 42K, where in the East Coast is your dealership? And even in NJ, i've searched around and I just don't see anything listed around this price. Am I using the wrong search engine?

Prices tend to be market driven, both in geographic market and in market demand.

Search engines like Edmunds allow you to plug in your zip code and give some idea if pricing in your area is favorable. I would not consider it gospel, but I have experimented with pricing a model in various markets and was surprised at the variances. I have noticed NY / NJ and California often report the best deals. Perhaps this is also linked to port of entry and ease of distribution? Here in Florida, I rarely see deals below what is offered elsewhere.

With 07 RL production turned down, they may have created, artificially, some demand. It seems there are a speckling of RLs on dealer lots. In 2006 they had 2 dozen RLs in inventory as Acura had not expecting sales to taper off so quickly / dramatically.

Perhaps with production dropping, the scarcity of the RL will actually allow Acura to keep RL pricing above $40K.

I have not made the purchase yet. The dealer has the car coming in mid-April
in the color combo I want. I am also waiting to see if my wife is going to take
my 05 TL and we will use her car for the trade in.

Of course I am going to see if the dealer can make the price a little bit lower too.

Great thread. We just got $3700 below invoice. Crazy, isn't it? Try to get $8833 off a new BMW.

Our 07 with Tech Package was $41237 including destination charge.

We pick it up Thursday with the options installed in it. They matched the Curry Acura on line pricing. We dealt with Rosenthal Acura in Gaithersburg, MD. - their internet mgr. We found that not going through a salesman we got a great deal. So, you can get a great deal here in the Northeast. The other dealer matched this deal AND wanted to give us 7 years of free oil changes, but we just liked the other dealer better.

I was close to pulling the trigger on an '06. Maybe time to have another look!
My dealer offered me $3000 back on the '07 (about 3 days ago).

I started another thread and rudely forgot to update on this one that we got the RL w/tech last Saturday for $42K with good trade in value and a few little goodies thrown in.

Im sure if I worked at it some more, I could have gotten the price a little lower, but I thought it was a fair deal for my part of the country. Absolutely bananas about the car! Thanks to all for their help and good luck to those still hunting!

My dealer has a Platinum Frost w/Ebony interior and Tech Pkg that is due in to the dealer in about two weeks. I ended up at $42,000 and that includes all weather mats, trunk tray, splash guards and wheel locks.

My wife has already told me to be careful with her TL!

$41K is pretty easy to get, Keyes, 101 West, and Santa Monica will all go for it with little persuation. If u are a dime squeezer u could probably even go lower.
