2005 RL w/ 75K miles. Ran fine yesterday morning.

In the afternoon with 102 temp, I got the messages of check AFS, check transmission (couldn't drive manually), check emmissions.


I disconnect the battery, and every message the same. Had battery checked and it's o.k.

After it cooled down yesterday, every message gone, tranny runs in manual, but emmisions check is still on.

Could the O2 sensor be gone? Anyway of erasing the anoying message? The only thing I could do is reset the oil indicator!!!!!

Time to have the codes checked....thats the only real way to know what is going on in there......
