The v8 on that car is just a race motor (much like the Indy and F1 engines, it won't be in a street car at any time). The production car the chassis resembles was killed and had a v10 that was nearly finished with development (as was the car).

 

Meh. This is already being discussed in our Automotive News forum--click for thread, and comes complete with exciting videos. This news is more exciting for those like me who are NSX nerds, er, fans. This will never find its way into an RL.
