Am I being anal?

I love my 06 RL......but when it rains, as the blades wipe it just sounds louder than it should I think. I don't recall my 05 TL being this loud. My wipers sound as if they are wiping on a dry surface even though its raining. And they make this squeaking noise at the end of the wipe cycle. I just had the wipers replaced by the dealer but still no improvement.

Anybody else feel the same way?

If you read the thread referenced above, you'll see I had a lot of trouble with noisy wipers to the point it was too annoying to drive in the rain. After the dealer changed just about everything (he would have swapped out the windshield had I wanted), I tried PIAA Super Silicone wiper blade refills (94070 - 28" driver side, 94048 - 19" passenger) and not so much as a squeak since.

I bought them HERE.

Time for some prozac However, I must concur that the RL's "different" wiper design has some small functional drawbacks.

Yea, if you turned on your windshield wipers the rubber would probably crumble into dust and blow away

Nah, Paxil will work a little better for obsessive car nuts like us.

Did you have to apply their glass treatment to the windshield?
