Question Aftermarket spoiler?

Anyone know of a good, reliable aftermarket source for a decklid spoiler?

I ordered the Mugen Rear Wing (more aggressive them the oem). That is the only other choice available other than the oem wing. Should be here soon

Thanks, Touge. I'm looking for the OEM-type lip spoiler.

I've found it a couple of places on the internet, but I was in hopes somebody made an aftermarket version that was a clone of the OEM. I know there are lots of Nissan and Infiniti pieces like that available.

I got the OEM installed by dealer AFTER they quoted me $210.02 installed from their price sheet. I jumped on this quote before they came to their senses. Needless to say their price sheet will be updated on Monday. Price should have been $423.68

How much, and where did you order from? I had the same idea as the Mugen reduces that long curve on the trunklid.

I knew I was going to have to learn Japanese to fully appreciate this car.

Hehe I wish I could speak Japanese, but no . I went to Japan back in January for my company and setup accounts with a bunch of manufacturers there with the help of my Japanese friend. Now I can get any JDM part I want .

Back to spoilers... doov used to make a lip spoiler also, but since they are out of business now it doesn't matter. Didn't really like it anyways.

Does it require drilling for installation (e.g. can a mere doc install this himself, unlike the cargo net)?

Thanks for posting the link, you beat me to it. For those without currency calculators nearby, ¥ 78750 (correct cost) is $657.

Wow, I'm liking the exhaust tips on the opening page of the mugen site! Of course, it would require the rear underbody kit to look right, but that's a very nice look!

But I'll probably go with the OEM-type spoiler. I just feel like the trunk area needs a little something to give it a crisper edge, and the stock spoiler does it.

Thanks -

The dealer here (Gunn Acura) wants $800 to install the spoiler on our RL or even my TL for that matter.

I just finished installing it myself, it looks so badass!. Very aggressive and the fit is perfect. Gives the car a more bmw 750 look. Yes you can install it yourself, it's very easy. They supply you with everything you need. Drilling is optional and I didn't do it, rather just used some extra 3m double sided tape to suppliment there 3m tape. Trust me it's not moving and I tried to lip it of after installation, wouldn't budge.

Just steal a bench from your local park and attach it to the trunk with bailing wire.

I couldn't agree more.

I got the OEM spoiler for $250 (employee pricing). This is the least my salesperison could do for me after I bought the RL and referred a friend who bought a TL on the same day.

I got it installed by an Acura accessory guy at the dealership for $30. So that's $280 total.
