60k miles tune up

I'm about to hit 60k miles and what should I change beside oil, air filter, transmission fluid, differential fluid? How's about spark plugs? What do you guys recommend? Thanks all

Your RL doesn't require a tune-up until 105k mile like all other acuras. If you have a big drop in MPG then go for it. I wouldn't do one otherwise until 105k.

The only service you really need is what the MID tells you to do.

+1 on sparks change at that mileage, but ONLY if you note significantly reduced mileage.

The low end torque is a little sluggish so that is why I want to change the transmission fluid and spark plugs. Any recommendation to fix a little lag?

Are you running Premium? and from what gas station. Lack of low-end tq isn't because you need tranny fluid...

My car seems to be getting poor mileage too. Should I just get Denso Iridiums or go to the dealer and get OEM one's installed? Sorry to jack your thread parkmead...

Id do NK Iridiums, switch to Honda synthetic they are switching to most cars to add extra mpg and reliability, & use good gas. Also add more air in your tires. Im supposed to put 30-32 psi but I put 35. All of this will Hell your gas mileage to the max.

I used premium gas at Costco. I had my car for about a year. It was certified so I don't think I need to drain the ATF. Do you think something like valve adjustment can help?

No. Costco gas is your problem. Try Shell gas. It has detergents (Techron) for the injectors in the gas. Id also start with adding fuel injector cleaner with the gas. The sell it at the shell gas station. You'll should see a difference on your 2nd tank after the detergents in the shell gas clean the injectors. Hope this helps. Keep us posted...

Thanks your your quick reply but do you think I need to adjust the valve? I bought my car when it was around 40k miles and now it's about to hit 60k. The dealer replaced the tranny fluid back then so I will replace it again.

Are the valves tapping? If not then no you dont need that until tune-up at 105k. Tranny fluid is fine. I bought my TL last june with the same miles. I am switching to redline ATF because it gives quicker/firmer shifts.
