3rd battery coming up

I've got the dreaded wheel not telescoping during start, so I'll be getting my 3rd battery soon. Its like clock work. 1st battery lasted 3 yrs 1 month and I'm now going on 3yrs 1 month on the second.

You live where it's really hot in the summer?

I realize people get more time out of theirs, but 3 years is pretty good for a battery IMO.

The wheel not telescoping can be a sign of the battery failing, but it could be something else as well. The wheel will stop telescoping if you begin to shift out of park before it has completed telescoping. 3 years seems a bit quick for the battery, but it's probably better safe than sorry to replace it.

My wife reminded me last night that I changed the battery over the Christmas holidays. What a great memory I have!
So I am already on my third battery. Must have gotten a bad one and will get it tested this weekend.
I know about the quick shifting to stop the wheel, but this is not it. I'm well versed in the car having had it since buying it new in 2005.
This is the classic battery issue unless something else is going out. Should know after I get the battery tested.

If you bought from Acura, pretty sure they have a 100 month warranty.

If not, I recommend Interstate brand batteries. Check date code to be sure you are getting a fresh one.

Sam's Club has great prices on Interstate batteries.

good news, bad news, good news?
Before checkin battery, I Checked the terminals thinking maybe loose wire might be the culprit. All tight, so took the battery to parts store for check-up. Battery checked out all good. Now I'm wondering what it could be.
Reinstalled battery and symptoms gone.
