I'm looking at moving from my ILX to a RDX but it seems like a lot of problems??

 

Go check out a Hyundai Santa Fe or Ford Escape forum.

 

pitbull...Lots of MINOR problems but no show stopper. Its to be somewhat expected when a vehicle gets a FMC. Trust me, the overall positive attributes of the SUV outweighs the negative, in my opinion anyway, and I dare say, I am ANAL

 

No major problems on mine. 3,000 miles. I have a front break squeal that I'm going to get the breaks replaced on my first service. Other than that, no issues what so ever. Like weather said, all the problems reported on these forums are not nitpicky per say, but definitely nothing major.

 

Keep in mind you are reading through the "Problems & Fixes" forum on these boards, so this is what happens on this particular forum.

I've read through most of it now (still a new member) but I agree with the others -there are some reports of minor issues, but nothing major. And, even a luxury badge like Acura will have some bad vehicles in a production run. It's the nature of a mechanical product. We all just hope we aren't the one who will purchase the bad egg.

 

Buy a 2012--the turbo and AWD is a lot of fun.

 

I got rid of my 2011 because of the Turbo, 2014 much better without it, IMO.

 

I love mine. Went from a 2009 CRV AWD to a 2013 RDX FWD LOVE having the ability to Spin the wheels after pulling out when it hits the power band...

 

I love mine as well. Minor issues like no passenger seat height adjustment, side view mirror range. Would love to have heated steering wheel & cooled seats too ;-)
Only a couple of squeaks/rattles after 1.5 yrs/15k and will have service check them out. Overall a fantastic car.
