The range of the Home link is so bad I need to use a separate visor mount opener to do the job. Is there anything that can be done to fix this problem?

 

This had been discussed a couple times here...do a search to find the threads. IIRC, there's a TSB about it but I don't remember the details.

Does your opener have LED bulbs in it? They've been known to produce interference that blocks the signal from the remote.

Odd. I can get mine to work from at least 2 houses before mine. Hope the TSB helps you out.

 

the tsb re-orients the homelink sender, it is pointing left to right instead of north. thats probably why it works from 2 houses down.

 

Mine works from at least three houses away. 2016 AWD Advance.
