Problem with turning off

Hello,
I have a 2013 Acura RDX. In the morning my husband was trying to turn on the car but have problem. Now the car is not working but the start engine button is blinking the green light and I can’t close the car. When I press the break pedal and push the start button, nothing is working. Is there a way to turn off and close the car?

You probably need a new underhood 12 volt battery. You could also need fresh batteries in the keys. Does this happen with both keys?
Do you not have a second key? (you should try both) There is also a procedure to start the car if the key battery is dead.
You could also have an issue with the brake switch.
Something else: The shift may not be in park or N. Or some sensor that tells the engine management system that it is in park is broken.

I had a weird issue once where my phone in the front console area was keeping the shift lever from going completely into park.
