I get a loud humming noise when I step on gas especially after car has warmed up. It does it in idle too when you step on gas. Sounds like coming from under hood driver side. It's definitely something to do with fuel system. But not the fuel pump. It doesn't do it when engine cold only after it warms up. Any ideas ? Would fuel pressure regulator cause this ?

What year? How many miles (km)?

 

You could let someone step on gas pedal and you listen to the engine bay with open hood and see if you can spot the location of the noise (or at least the area).
