Oh I see, some people are so ridiculous. That trim piece is actually covered in a piece of matte black tape. You can pull off the tape and take it to a shop who can apply some vinyl wrap to the pillar.

Assholes, whoever did that. I can't stand for senseless vandalism. I don't see this being too difficult to replace. You may have to remove the chrome door trim first to pull those pieces away. I wish I had a repair manual for the RDX

!00% agree. Nothing redeeming about this whatsoever and not funny at all. I just don't understand what would possess someone to do this.

I was a teenager once (now a young adult) and I can 100% without a doubt make the statement that I have never ever even had the thought of vandalizing something randomly. Like why.

Thanks for all you guys supporting me.
I finally able to get this fix.
Is a very easy job. Just slowly remove the chrome trim and pull the B-pillar trim out to replace.

I was wondering if anyone has successfully replaced this piece? It looks like the chrome bottom piece has to come off (I already broke the clip closet to the door edge). Does the piece go up and under the top chrome piece? I would like to replace the rear piece as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

No amount of vinyl wrap will fix that. Vinyl wrap is great until it begins to shink. Get online access to the body manual. I am affraid that the glass will need to be removed to gain access to the trim fasteners. Yes, those pieces are trim.

As an update to this I was able to replace the "B" Column by replacing the the chrome Belt trim piece ( no need to remove inner panel panel. The upper chrome piece needs to be completely removed and replaced in order to replace the "B" pillar.
