Last week we had a check emission system light came on in our brand new 2013 RDX with less than 2500 miles on it. It drove fine no issues. Our closest Acura dealer was over two hours away. We drove the drive and Acura has to order the part and we have to return this weekend to get a Oil Sensor replaced that went bad. Because they had to order the part over the labor day weekend. The Service guy was floored that our car only had 2500 miles on it. They gave us a Brand New MDX 2013 with less 1800 miles to drive as a loaner not a bad deal. But we have to drive back to get our car this weekend. Bummer deal. The one good thing about owning an Acura is the loaner car when you do need maintenance.

 

Most, if not all, luxury brands offer loaner cars when your car is in for service. I know that all the Audi dealers in the area do, as does the BMW, MB, and Volvo dealers. However, some dealers have more loaners than others, so availability is sometimes limited.
