Plastic cover over the gas door release

Not a big issue but I noticed the plastic cover over the gas door release keep coming off. Anyone ever experienced or noticed this? I will post some pictures tomorrow so that people can tell exactly what I am referring to.

Two files - one is when the cover is in place and the other is with the cover coming off. Any thoughts?

Typical plastic molding. Perhaps your clips are weak and not holding the plastic in well enough. Do you rest your foot on the kick panel?

You could always bring it in for service. See if they replace it.
I have had them replace a warped speedo bezel already..

Try 3M double sided body trim molding tape.

Part ordered / covered by warranty which should be available in several days.

I think this is by far the best resolution to this issue.

Two weeks later no call from dealer so I decided to call them and was told the part has arrived. Went and replaced it, at least they said - it is still the same though. The tech told me there is nothing they can do - this is how it was designed ...
