Hello and help if you can please. Last night car wouldn’t start so got a jump and all was well. Bought a new battery today and started right up to head to work. Then after work it acted funny again and took a couple tries to start but eventually turned over. Then on my way home the power steering light went on and power steering went out intermittently several times, pulled into driveway and died completely. No lights nothing. I have a 2015 RDX with less than 100k miles.

Sounds like the battery is dead, but if this is a new battery perhaps the alternator is the culprit. If you have a voltmeter you can check the voltage of the battery with the car running to see if it’s charging the battery.

 

You may have an electrical leak or short somewhere that's draining the battery quickly.

 

Can you spin the belt on the alternator?

 

Who installed the battery? I'd start with those connections. How old was the battery it replaced? Was any testing done to determine if that was the issue?
