Hoping I can find some suggestions here about my daughter's car, a 2009 Acura TL. About 3-4 weeks ago, it died on her leaving our neighborhood and she had to have both her battery and alternator replaced. Then, about 2 weeks after that, her power steering stopped working. She took it to the mechanic shop who had replaced the alternator but the computer they hooked up could not read anything from the car. They told her to come back when the mechanic who had last worked on her car was there and he could look at it. She drove home then went out about 4 hours later to go to work and the power steering worked again. Worked for about 5 days and now we are back to no power steering. Mechanic still can't get computer to read it and he is stumped and suggests we take it to the dealer. Nearest dealer is about 75 minutes away so before we head down that road, anyone have any suggestions about what is causing this and how expensive it can get? Not sure of her mileage but it's high!
