Reverse Light Bulbs

Would these bulbs

Sylvania 168/194/2825 Premium White LEDriving Bulb

be OK for me to use to replace the OEM back up bulbs in my '14 RDX? I could use the extra light with my barely legal window tint when backing into my garage. I'm not looking for cool, I'm looking for more light. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

I have something similar. The problem is the way the bulb is positioned, the brightest part of the bulb (tip) is pointing to the side and not out. It makes a small difference.

I had the same problem all of you are experiencing. I corrected it with a 15w HID kit.

Just get LED bulbs at amazon or any auto store, no need to go HID's, LED's is just like replacing the bulbs, easy upgrade, and just as bright.

This was a very easy install and was all done within 10min for both sides. There no comparison between an LED and 15w HID IMO. The lumen output just isnt there.

Any tips on pulling the OEM reverse bulb socket? They are stupid tight on my 2016 RDX. I have never seen a bulb socket not twist out by hand.

Just found them on eBay. Very cool if there is space for the ballasts. I have a '16 RDX

I swapped mine out this past week. I found the easiest way was to use light pressure with some bent needle nose. They came out like butter.

I ended up using spark plug boot pliers to remove the socket.

Mine didn't come out by hand the first time and I was twisting the correct way. I even have small hands. Everything is new so it should be snug. Did my sub install and all the bolts/clips/plastics were tight.

Replacing the bulbs is cake though. Surprised how easy the RDX is to work on compared to my 14 TL SH.

Would like to add the 15W HID kit since I tried LED to no avail. Anyone have any info on the Canadian markets?

So wait a minute... are you saying the fitment for the 921's from this link does not fit your 2017 RDX and that the only the one that is listed as 12841 will fit??? Goddamn them thangs cost $40 bucks.

I have a 2013 model. Will that make a difference compared to the 2017 model? I don't know if I can justify paying $40 (12841) if I know the ones listed for $20 (921) will fit my 2013. Can someone confirm if?

Yes. the 921 (model in the link) does NOT fit. The base of the bulb is not long enough. I paid $20 for them and it's just lying around.

Do we know if it makes a difference between the 2017 vs 2013?

Also, if you purchased them through Amazon, why not just return it?
