LED foglights project for 2nd generation RDX Base and Tech
I just finished installation of fog lights in my 2018 RDX Tech. It took me about two hours of labor with total cost on the parts of $262.76 ($132.77 for OEM attachment installation kit plus $129.99 for Morimoto XB LED lamps from retrofitstore).
Everything looks really nice. No rattling in the lamps, screws adjust the light beams perfectly, no significant gaps between the lamps and the garnish.
Cannot be more happy with savings of about $327 on parts. I can share details if anybody is still planning to install fogs in Base and Tech trims.

My wife has a 2018 RDX Base, I’d like to add the Morimoto LEDs. Is there a kit I can buy that would bring everything but the halogen fogs? I could make my own harness and add a bs switch but I’d like to keep it OEM. I really don’t want to pay for the halogens only to have to put led bulbs into them.

+1 I would also like a DIY guide to this. If I need to add additional hardware for stuff like the power / voltage boosting then I would shy away from this project.
My 17' RDX tech does not have any fog lights so for me it would be a complete install of the lights all the way to the switch and everything in between. Any guides would be very helpful for me to assess the scope of this DIY project. Thanks!

Some online dealers selling parts will include a pdf of the install instructions. Here they are from Bernardi:

I don't know what is included in the "fog lights" vs the "fog light attachment kit" But buying the kit might tell you what you still need.
Hopefully someone who has actually done this will chime in. The original poster in this thread has not.

This kit looks like it includes everything needed except for the two fog lights. The kit is actually reasonably priced considering all that you get; new front pieces with openings for fog lights, wiring harness, new light switch stalk on steering column and a relay, it's the fog lights that are expensive. I've ordered the installation kit and am now deciding on the expensive OEM fog lights (~$500) or less costly, but what appears to be high quality Morimoto XB Led or Elite Series aftermarket fog lights for ~$200.2016-2018 Acura RDX Attachment, Fog Light 08V38-TX4-200A | OEM Parts Online
