So, I just recently traded up from my 2014 Base in Modern Steel to a 2018 Advance in Crystal Black. I’m playing with the idea of adding the side molding, but I can’t decide on color.

I definitely don’t want to color match with the Crystal Black, not because it’s a bad color, but I feel like it would just be too much black. I considered the Lunar Silver, since it would pull together the silver from the beak, wheels, and rack, but I also kind of feel like the Lunar Silver isn’t a 1:1 match for the silver on those pieces, so it may end up looking a bit wonky at odd angles. It also might make things just a tad too busy with all the contrasting accents. So I think I’ve almost settled on the Modern Steel, since it will pull highlights from the gun metal gray accents on the wheels, and be just light enough that it adds it’s own subtle accent to the color.
