Noticed that the strip of light at the bottom of the assembly is not illuminating on the passenger side. Any alternatives to replacing the entire assembly? Or a way to make sure it’s not a cable or connector? Figured I’d ask around here, before dropping $1500-$2000 at the dealer for a new assembly, or trying to get a used OEM assembly in good condition (scratch-wise and tab-wise) and replacing it myself.
Passenger side (not working) Driver’s side (working)
That sucks man! Honestly live with it or try to get a used one. Car-part.com is a junkyard search engine that I have used in the past. Unfortunately i'm hoping one day that someone comes out with some way to replace the internal components on these headlights

i mean, there is already components from used broken headlights...
one can Frankenstein if they were skilled enough... but that comes at the expense of time....
much easier just to buy a headlight from a junkyard or ebay, like you suggested
The attached schematic shows three inputs to the LED headlights (bottom of page 1).
From the diagram, it is not clear to me if pin 5 is to control the LED bar, or to send a sense signal back to the controller. I would check the connector for a bad pin or corrosion, and then compare voltages present on the left and right side headlight connectors for pins 1 to ground and pin 5 to ground. If that all checks out OK, then try replacing the light housing,
