2011 Right Headlight condensation

Recently bought a pre-owned 2011 SH-AWD, and love it. A month ago, noticed quite a bit of condensation in the passenger side headlight. Had my independent mechanic take a look at it, and he informed me that the previous owner had probably been in a minor fender-bender (news to me!), and that it probably damaged the headlight, because the seal was broken, leading to the condensation. So, I'm assuming I need to replace the light. Before I put down the $$ (~ $600 on Acura OEM & ~ $350-400 on Ebay), wanted to see if anyone has tried to just reseal the headlight, with a condensation problem? If not, any thoughts on buying on Ebay vs. the Acura OEM? Thanks!

If the car is still very nice, I would probably pony up the cost of OEM.

Don't go aftermarket. I don't see why you can't reseal but you'll have to inspect it carefully to see where it's leaking. If the lens is cracked, then you're SOL. You don't have to necessarily get new either, junkyard may have some.

Condensation is pretty much a normal thing with the RDX. I had it on my driver side headlight on my 08 RDX replaced under warranty. I didn't realize I had an issue until I traveled from NM to hot/humid TX for a trip and it fogged up on me.

Do you use a touchless carwash? I find that the high pressure jets will put water into highlights.

My 08 RDX doesn't ever fog up. If it's fogging up on the inside, there is a crack somewhere or open seal somewhere.
