Headlight Replacement 2008 RDX

Hi, I am new to the forum. I have searched for this query, but forgive me if it has been posted before. My drivers headlight has water in it and I would like to replace it. I have looked on amazon, Kijiji and various other sites, but they all seem very expensive at over 500 dollars. Is there an aftermarket alternative for a 2008 RDX? It seems odd that I was able to find may aftermarket replacements for other Acura vehicles, but none for my RDX. If I have to pay 500 or more, I will, but I would like to know if anyone has found an alternative. I know that Acura is Honda. I used to have a Lexus RX300 and was able to source cheaper parts for it from Toyota as it was a glorified Highlander. Are there similar headlights branded with the Honda name that would fit? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks...

They are one of a kind and no other vehicle will share the headlight design. It looks like you may have to pony up for a new OEM replacment.

First check that the light unit is not missing a breather cap.

Otherwise, you could try heating the headlight in the oven to loosen the sealant. Take it apart and reseal it. Headlight sealant rubber is available at auto body supply stores.

Tuners have been doing this for years to paint their headlight bezels. Many DIYs all over the netz.
