All the information I'm about to share pertains to non navi systems. However, I bet navi wiring is pretty similar and most of this info should also apply.
After combing through the sound system related wiring diagrams for our cars, I see no reason an after market headunit, that integrates with the factory amp, couldn't be installed. The only issue is no one makes a dash kit. I'm currently taking a radio I ordered off eBay to make my own. A double din footprint will have to cut into the trim around the radio. I'll post pics when I'm done. I wonder what it would take to get metra to make one?
A lot of the newer style double dins only take up a single din footprint with a double din screen attached to it. The really nice ones have "floating" screens that are adjustable.
I drove an 09 TSX, without navi, before this and still have the wiring from it. Turns out, the main connector and subwoofer connector are exactly the same. I haven't double check the pin outs yet, but I'm willing to bet they're the same. Worse case repining the connector should be easy. The antenna adapter is different, but I found the right one.
I would recommend unplugging the HFL, the ANC and the top screen. Steering wheel controls should be fine also, with an adapter. I ordered this fancy unit:
For the backup camera, I'm going to try interfacing with the factory one. It connects to the back of the top screen. I ordered another screen to pull the connector off of and create an adapter harness of it. If the quality is too shitty, I'll get an aftermarket one. I was also going to tap into the factory mic, but I'm afraid the quality would be too low. So, I'll just put an aftermarket one into the stock location. Easy enough.
I'd say a lot of members are looking forward to seeing your progress. I have stared at my dash wondering what to do.

I'm taking my time for the pure and simple fact, I can't afford to get everything at once. Car audio has gone through the roof since I messed with it a decade ago. I still have to order the speakers and subs. I've finished the "dash kit" though.
I ordered an old radio off eBay. (I actually ordered 2 as the first one was destroyed trying to graft a universal double din kit to it. That's when I settled on getting a headunit that had a double din screen with guts that had a single din footprint) I then removed all the guts from the radio, took the buttons and used a soldering iron with a flat wood burning tip and melted the buttons into the holes that I could. I used scrap abs for the large center hole, from the spinning button. I took the single din dash kit from a 97 f150 and grafted it onto the radio. Again using the soldering iron and scrap abs. The trick to melting the 2 plastics together is to actually melt both pieces and not just the one. On a side note, you can also repair plastic gas tanks this way. For smoothing out and filling the rest of the gaps, I would recommend doing something different than I did. I tried 2 different 2 part epoxies and neither one would stick for shit. I would try regular ole bondo, the fiber reinforced filler or the high bond filler, instead. After that, high build primer, more sanding and paint should do the trick. I also bolted the metal back plate from the radio back to the front plastic. I figured it would add reinforcement. Plus, it has mounting tabs for screwing the radio to the trim piece. I had to, basically, cut a chunk out of the center of it to accommodate the new headunit. I'll share pics of it mounted when I get there.
Making progress. It's been a long time since I've done an install like this. So, I'm at a stand still because I didn't order enough speaker wire...
Got all but 1 speaker installed. The pioneer tweeters I got fit the factory pods perfectly. Did a little plastic welding to attach them. Not a huge fane of permanently modifying interior trim, as it can be hard to find replacements, but it is what it is.
Got the amps mounted and power ran. Had to do some trimming to those panels as well, same feelings about that. I think that could have been avoided if I would have used 1/2 mdf and didn't use so many mounting bolts. Had to stand off the amps a little to avoid bolt heads.
Ran the big 3 under the hood. Probably going to need a new battery soon. The one I have is old and shitty. Hopefully with a deep cycle battery the stock alternator will be ok.
Got the old radio out and the new mount installed in the trim.
Got the factory backup camera working with the alpine head unit. I think the camera actuates with the factory radio. Going to figure out which pin does that tomorrow. I'm betting pin 11 on the camera itself. I also powered it off of the reverse light like an aftermarket unit would. I took an upper screen I ordered off eBay and pulled the plug off the board to utilize for the reverse output and the video signal, to plug into the factory harness. A14, 18 and 19. I used a male rca from and old aftermarket harness.

Pin 11 was not it, almost blew some shit up. Don't do that. I'll have to get a camera off eBay and experiment with lower voltages.
Got everything installed and done. Steering wheel controls aren't all working. I think my taps aren't making good contact. I accesses all 3 needed wires under the steering column.
Not my favorite headunit. Got it for wireless android auto, but it's not working. Pretty sure that's my phone, as it wasn't working in my wife's car either.
