Hey, everyone. My wife's RDX (2013) needs new climate control knobs. We had our dog in the car and he apparently got bored and chewed it real good.
I was looking at replacement parts and I only see the whole knob/button unit being sold. Does anyone how to take apart this piece on the car? Ideally, I would just remove and replace the knobs but I have a feeling I need to pull the whole component out.

 

If you look online you may be able to find aftermarket covers that go over them, but ideally replacing the whole module would probably be best. Surprisingly they're dirt cheap at around $40 shipped on eBay. I posted a link below for reference.

Thanks for that. Would you happen to know where I can get instructions on taking the unit out? Will I need to pull the console trim off?

 

This is the best I could find. I'm assuming once you get the whole portion out it should be easy to take the climate controls out.
