2013 RDX 3rd Party Stereo Replacement?

I own a 2013 Acura RDX (tech pkg). I cannot stand the stock stereo and (especially) the navigation system. I've "tolerated" it. But now I am wondering if there are now suitable 3rd party systems that could potentially replace this system. I'm going to "guess" that I could replace the stereo, but I would lose the control buttons and other functionalities there. I have an iPhone and yes, I know the new RDX cars have CarPlay, which is nice. I'm not ready to buy a new one yet.

Thank you in advance.

There are some phone screen mirroring devices out there, but the one that seems to offer the best functionality also has the worst reputation. Like actively spamming, belittling customers, making false accounts to tout their product, etc...

But I agree, the navigation system in my 2017 ADV is unusable. None of my voice commands work. I just end up putting my phone up against the Nav screen.
