2013 RDX AcuraLink

I have a 2013 RDX with Tech Package. I have an Iphone 4S with IO6 and Sprint is my provider. I have tried to use the AcuraLink but it tells me it cannot connect. Any suggestions on how to get this to work? Thanks.

I have iPhone5 and it tells me the same thing that the set up is not able to connect to AcuraLink.

In fact, Acura phones, address, and voice command in general is pretty limitted. I cannot call unless the phone numbers are tagged and the tagged numbers are limitted to something like 20 numbers...really.

I just looked at the manual. Man, I hope they've updated the system, because it says its only compatible up to 3GS (page 161 of the RDX Navigation Manual).

Acura website indicates a "Virtual Dashboard" which remotely shows tire pressure, fuel level, etc. I can't find this anywhere? I have an iPhone 5, but the app doesn't seem to have this feature anywhere. Anybody use the feature?

Agreed. I've owned two Acuras with Acuralink and neither one could ever connect. It doesnt work with no matter what phone you have.

AcuraLink uses your phone's internet connection to communicate with the server. Theoretically speaking, if you have an internet connect (3G, 4G) on your phone and is paired to the vehicle, you should be able to establish communication. However, like I've stated in my previous post, it almost NEVER works.

The reason it does not work with iPhone because data transfer is not enabled over bluetooth by Apple (and ATT etc) as people would be able to use that for tethering.

Acura's fault in this regard is trying to use the bluetooth interface for this communication.

Bluetooth tethering is available in my HTC Droid DNA and it's still not working.
